TERMS & CONDITIONS

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are accepted up to two weeks before the scheduled course date (14 calendar days), Please contact us to request refund by email and/or text.  Please provide name of reservation and date of course.  Please allow us 48hours to respond.  This will not impact your date request.

 

Refunds

A full refund of your deposit will be issued if the cancellation is made 14 days prior to your course date. A service fee of 4% of the total amount paid will be deducted from the refund. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed.

 

Rescheduling

Less than 14 days notice you will be permitted to reschedule into a new course date. Failure to provide 72 hours (3days) notice prior to your scheduled course will incur an additional $100 fee, processed when rescheduling within 7 business days.

 

Lateness/No Shows

Late arrivals may not be allowed to join the class. One course transfer is allowed without losing your deposit if a new course date is selected within 7 business days. A no-show will incur a $100 rebooking fee, processed when rescheduling within 7 business days.

 

Illness Policy

Students displaying any symptoms of illness will not be allowed into the classroom. You must notify us by calling or sending an email before the class starts, or you will be considered a no-show.

 

Students are encouraged to stay home if ill and will have the opportunity to reschedule according to our cancellation policy. No refunds are provided for illness-related cancellations.

 

Payment

Payments can be made on our registration page via Visa, MasterCard, or arrangements can be made for cash payments.

 

Receipt

You will receive an email confirmation of your payment when you book online. No receipts will be issued in the classroom.

 

Youths

A parent and/or guardian must be in attendance during registration to sign a minors consent form for the CFSC.   Youths MUST be 12 years of age to take the Ontario Hunter Education Program.

 

Restricted Course Requirements

You must complete the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and be at least 18 years old before enrolling in the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC).  If more than 30 days have passed since you completed the CFSC, you must register in a Sunday Restricted course to meet the requirements. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the forfeiture of your entire deposit.

 

Course Reminders and Confirmations

After booking online, you will receive a confirmation receipt and a reminder email 24 hours before your scheduled course.

 

What to Bring and Parking

Bring a piece of government ID, Pen & Paper

Registration starts 15 minutes before your course time; parking is available at the side of the building.

 

Breaks

Breaks will be provided throughout the course

Water and coffee are provided 

 

Technology Use

Computers and iPads are not allowed during the course. Phones may only be used during break times.

 

Manuals

The course manual is available for free on our website. You can also borrow a manual on the day of the course if you prefer not to buy one.  Manuals are available for purchase at a cost of $21.00 plus HST.
